there is no clips on the hex rod on my 2007 models. the arms just "push" on and are not held in place by anything

ok, i have dismantled the front end, in order to get to the 4 arms that need replacing. can anyone tell me how to remove the lower arms?? the parts diagram says they are held on with a securing clip. but i dont see anything on there. do they just push off? they seem pretty stuck on there and i can't...

mine is a 2007 bike, i got it in 2016 with 35,000 miles on it. i replaced the OEM screen with a bigger Cee Baileys one when i got the bike. three of the screen support arms have just broke at 54,000 miles a lot of the miles i have done have been at speeds of 60-80 mph with the screen about 30% raised
