Re: collected new bike
I did ask him twice and he's kindly put it in writing to me.
"The mileage will not be a problem as long as you try not to exceed 1,000 miles"
I won't get near 1000 more like 800 (weather pending)

Re: collected new bike
Sorry Casber, I don't think I could handle the power and speed of a Quartz Blue....better stick with the Carbon Black. The first service at 600 miles must be a guide mileage as the dealer has stated not to exceed 1000 miles before its booked in date. Good of them as I can play out over the bank holi...

Re: collected new bike
I'll drop the sales rep an email that way I get it in writing without actually asking him formally to put it in writing to me. (if that makes sense) The running issues I will live with as it's : Engine hunting around 3k-4k revs which makes riding smooth bit of a trick.... I need to sit at lights etc...

Re: collected new bike
I asked the dealer what I was allowed to do mileage wise as they couldn't book it in any sooner than the 4th. Reply was "600 mile service should be carried out on or around 600 miles" that told me......the sales rep did state up to but no more than 1000 but with it having a couple of runni...

Re: LC 2015
My 17LC is embarrassing at traffic lights when I select 1st. It sounds like I haven't pulled the clutch in it's that noisy. I also feel the gears meshing in together with my foot. Also I have to pull the clutch in at traffic lights or standing still waiting to pull away as the thrust beari...

Re: Shift Assist problem....
When I picked my 17 LC up they told its not recommended to shift from 1-2 or 2-1 without the clutch but every other gear is fine without.
Even saying that mine is far from smooth 1-2 and 2-1 even with the clutch

Well turns out HTC phones will not connect to Navigator VI so i think I better get a new phone. :( I know its been asked a million times before but I just don't understand the pro's and con's. In brief we have a 17 RT that doesn't have audio. The Mrs & I don't have comms but want to go...
