Re: Back to RT1200
Yes you blew the fuse that is at the nose of the front seat once removed. One of the two is your Aux fuse. It does not take much to blow one. However your phone should not have as that is about all it is good for. But if you or someone else tried anything else...

HEX Code the maker of CanSmart and ezCAN which is the original brand by HEX Code. They are having a sale of 30% off for the ezCAN. It did not help us here in the USA because of shipping but EU and EK should be a big help. It is only until the 21st. Use code: HexMadeMyChristmas Ag...

Re: Exhaust Flow Control Valve (Twin Cam 2013)
Well I just put a Akrapovic header on my 17 GS. I used a Servo Buddy https://www.skutr.net/servo-eliminators/ and it eliminates any issue with the servo. Everything is gone.
I ran my GS-911 on it and it passed the two Servo Tests so the Servo Buddy works for sure.

Re: Power Commander
Yes. This pic is of my GS where I just installed the PC5 with Auto Tune from the RT I sold. It worked/works on both bikes. I would have done the ECU or BMSK but sending over seas with customes and all it just seems like it would be a long process. And since I owned the ...

Re: Auxiliary lighting for a 2006 1200RT
Yes pretty strait forward. I use a Hex ezCAN device for them and the rear brake lights as it integrates right into the BMW canbus. Those lights are Denali 2.0 D4 ad are a pretty innovative light set. First they are all new LED technology. Second the lens kit they inclde allow you...

Re: RoadSmart III Tires
Jut had RSIII put on Patricia's Vulcan 650 S. With the dots on the valve stem NO weights were needed on either tire! It had no weights on it with the original Dunlops either. RSIII had a 50 dollar rebate with a additional 25 dollar with any dealer service including just the mount...

Re: Grips that you would suggest
I use a air chuck and my compressor and have both on in 5 mins. Been using them for about 14 years now. They wear well and are comfortable. I am at a year on this set on the GS and they look as new.

Re: oil level sight glass query
It is the wait 5 mins that most people don't get right. Once you shut the motor down, put it on the center stand and time for 5 mins EXACTLY and look at the sight glass. It is very exact to wait only 5 mins.
