I have 2012 R1200RT. I have slight oil seeping from the valve cover bolt bushing area. Not a major leak at all, only about a single drop after parking over night. Good idea. I see on the parts diagrams there are a few linkages involved between the foot lever and gear box itself.
I'll check those out. Possibly clean and lightly lubricate those parts.
