Re: BT intercom
After some research I think the scala Q1 teamset is the most cost effective way for simple rider to pillion BT comms. The sena range appears only to be water resistant, which for northern Europe is not good enough. Scala is 'dust proof and waterproof'. As this statement comes from the masters of lit...

Re: New owner
It's a keeper all right, it always brings a smile to my face. Adam at Cannon's was hoping I was going to PX the CBX. I'm keeping that too.Gman1969 wrote: I loved my Aprilia - I wished I never sold it.

Re: BT intercom
Hi RTman10,
Thanks for your input but I think you may have misread my post. My '16 RT does NOT have the audio. I don't want a wired system cos I'll, or the Mrs, will forget and yank the wires out.
Cheers,
Vince

BT intercom
I'm looking to get a BT intercom so me and the mrs can talk on long runs. My '16 RT has not got the audio. I've looked at the sena kit so far. Any recommendations? I don't want wired stuff.

Re: New owner
I went for the updated 2016 Platin Bronze with the 'stealth pack'. Although a darker bronze, my Aprillia (keeper) is so quick it must surely be down to the colour QED.
Cheers.

Re: New owner
Went to see Adam yesterday, top bloke. Gave me a great trade in price. Nothing off the bike but a grand of the accessories so well chuffed.
Cannons were a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to France, Germany and the Netherlands trips later in the year.

Re: mounting with a top case
Good advice. After having my Aprilia sink into my mates tarmac drive, I never go anywhere without a puck... the twenty-first century replacement for a squashed coke can.richardbd wrote:

Re: Newbie
Thanks for the link DaygloDavid. Still a crazy price for a top box, but quite a saving over dealer price. Have you used this site?

I don't think that one has the central locking and the other whistles and flutes. But thanks anyway.DaygloDavid wrote: Is this thread of any interest, bmw top case cheap, /index.php/topic,1885.msg14916.html#msg14916

Re: Newbie
Thanks for the welcome. So it seems if I want a discount, I should buy a Triumph, their sales guy (Ongar Mcls) was almost begging me to buy a Trophy SE. Mind you after riding one, I could see why. The new gold colour RT with the black engine and drive line looks great. I wonder if they have gone awa...

Hi all, After several months of 'lurking' I've bitten the bullet and taken the Queens shilling. After forty odd years riding, I'm just about to pull the trigger on a new Platin Bronze RTLE. My first, of probably many, questions is how amenable are UK Motorrad dealers to negotiating discounts? Eighte...
