Two Dealerships
I phoned my local BMW Motorcycle dealership, Blade BMW, based in Rednal, Birmingham, yesterday seeking some technical advice. response was that all the workshop staff were busy and unable to help me. I explained what I needed to know and asked if the person I was speaking to could speak to a mechani...

The light will have been emoved by the police when the bike was retired, so someone has re-installed it, along with the badges a...

Re: Is There A South Coast 500 Or Something Similar?
planning to do the NC500 in April over 6 days starting from Birmingham. Plan is to get up to Perth on first day, Wick on second, probably Ullapool day 3, Applecross day 4. then head south over the final 2 days. Any tips would be really appreciated.

Re: Bike too tall?
Interesting the cultural differences in aproach to riding and vehicle legislation. Hre in the UK an insecure seat would, I suspect, be an MOT test fail as the bike would be deemed unsafe. The reclined riding position you mention sounds like a cruiser riding position, presumably c...

Re: Bike too tall?
HI, I'm 5'6'' and own an 05 RT and was on tip toe the first time I rode it. I quickly discovered the seat was on the high setting and moving it to the lower position allowed me to get more or less both feet flat on the road. Curious what is holding the seat on if you've completely removed ...
