Re: I dropped my bike...

Re: Top case and panniers ... How much can they take?
Now here I can help, I have a very basic taste in wine and on my annual trip to Spain I loaded up with a cheap robust little Rioca. Check that you will be able to open the pannier lid of the RTP as they open upwards from the rear and a topbox may be in the way.

Reminds me of Homer Simpson's car which had a pop corn machine and a fax machine, they would fit on a RAM mount!

Latest K1600
Nice day today so I popped up to Bahnstormers in Maidenhead for coffee and a peek at some bikes, amongst them was the latest version of the K1600, it now has the gearshift assist and a reverse gear, just what it needed but still a heavyweight, for me, at any rate.

Re: 2014 RT LC Service cost?.
I'm not at all convinced of the need for such a rigorous service regime where the engine is concerned as many car engines are producing more power / litre than our BMW bikes, eg the Ford Fiesta in it's max form for the one litre turbo 3 cylinder makes 140 bhp and the Volvo 2 litre 4 cylinder turbo i...
