Re: My First BMW Motorcycle- Christmas came early!!!

In my opinion there are so many great things about the RT and I have only recognised two weaknesses: one the seat ...

Re: R1200 RT vs TT1200 SE
You are absolutely right, I know someone who works at the Triumph Factory, that's exactly what they have done. The above is not all about pinching design they are also examining the quality of their competitors parts it's not uncommon in the automotive industry. I have been the Safetyman on many a ...

Re: Best tire for all situations
Sofnolime no need for an apology your inputting is more than welcome I had posted my last response before reading yours, but it would appear we have the same feeling on general instability. I would also agree there is no bad tire out there these days just some not as good as others.

Re: Best tire for all situations
GS with decent road tyres eg PR4s. TKCs ( https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=tkc80+tyres&tbm=shop ) don't suit the RT. Thanks for the input and the link I had tested both GS and GSA liked the latter better but liked both. It did become a t...

Re: WERKS Quiet Ride Windshield
Gotcha Moonie yeah I agree with the 'picture tells a thousand words' that must be true as Bread sang a song about it :)) . The problem with uploading pictures on this site is it seems to be a problem in itself and that maybe the reason people rarely post pictures. I have several times fail...

I have retired (I think) the problem or more a dilemma I suppose is what are the best tires for my intended useage? When I bought the bike I had planned to cover major distances by motorways going to and from UK and France (South West) along with convincing the missus to ride with me as opposed to h...

Re: R1200 RT vs TT1200 SE

Re: Touratech Engine Guards Installed
Surely test are made on engineering design and their claims of protection proven? Otherwise they are selling goods that are notvwhatvtgey say they are and I am sure there is a law against that? I know engine guards protected my Tiger 800 because about 2006 I was making a turn and put the front wheel...
