Navigator V & Pocket GPS

Post by jjwill »

Does anyone use the Pocket GPS camera database?  I have used a Zumo 550 for many years with the speed camera database (CSV) and these show on the map.  I was given a Nav V as part of the deal when I bought the RT. I have tried loading the speed camera database both CSV & GPX and cannot see them on the map on the Nav V. Can someone please tell me what I have to do.  Custom POI is ticked.
I have tried the Cyclops database but this only shows the fixed cameras and not the mobile ones.

Thanks

The V comes with safety cameras  already loaded and these include mobile ones.  There is a cost to keep them updated though.
If you havn't already go to Settings , Proximity Alerts and tick Garmin Safety Cameras

Thanks RTman10. Yes I did that but no mobile cameras show up only fixed safety cameras. Hence why I would prefer pocket gps.

Try the following link
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras-garmin.php
It gives instruction for the NAV IV but not the V, it's not mentioned in the list of supported sat navs.
