A change in layout today, and a little info to you that probably have not seen this possibility

If you click on a + or - in position marked 1 - this expands / collapse this section/module
If you click the small +/- icon marked 2 and 3 (upper right on the page) - then the whole left or/and right side panel is collapsed.
Use this to customize your frontpage, and the browser should remember your choices - next time you visit this site.
