Dynamic & Premium package

Post by falconmick »

Picking up a 2012 R1200RT SE at weekend, the bike has both Dynamic & Premium package upgrades. Tried researching web without luck, can anyone please tell me what these packages consist of?

Falconmick,

You can find the detail in the bike configurator on the BMW website...

Found this Spec. for a 2012 US Model, http://www.bmwmotorcycle.com/2012_r1200rt_bmw_info.htm

I've got a UK 2012 R1200RT SE (non-Audio),  which includes all the Options listed in the Premium Equipment.

Although not listed, the Dynamic Package is likely to include, Tyre Pressure Monitor (TPM) & ASC (Traction Control),  could also have an Anti-Theft Alarm.

I had an SE with the Dynamic pack.  This was Traction control and tyre pressure monitor and an extra accessory socket.  The TPM is linked to the alarm so you should have that as well if you have a fod to work it.  No idea what Premium package was unless it was something you could add to something below the SE.

A Base Model was indeed available below the SE.
