Leaning in turns.

Hi All - I picked up my new RT yesterday and absolutely LOVE it.  I put about 100 miles on it today, varying the speed, lots of twists and turns with plenty of engine braking as I run it in.  In the turns, I sometimes feel like I'm going to scrape the luggage bags, or cylinder heads.  They stick out further than any bike I have owned.  I'm guessing it's mostly my imagination, but has this happened to anyone?  Any advice on knowing how far you can lean and get away with it?

Yep.  zoom in and it looks like a inch or two to go on the pot.  Hero indeed.

The hinged footrests (hero blobs) are likely to ground first, note the sparks.

A trickery of the reflection on the visor, but at first glance it looks like the screen has distorted as if it doesn't like high angles of bank !

Ha, I figured it was mostly my imagination!  I went as far as making my girlfriend drive behind me on a windy road with the dashcam going.  When I watch the video, of course I didn't get anywhere close to touching.  I did scrape the kickstand once on my Vespa GTS300, but it was a combination of a very sharp turn, and the road had an extreme amount of pitch to it, so it was a double-whammy.
