Loose Pannier Lid, Twin Cam RT.

Post by Our Gee »

Hello Chaps,
just noticed that my offside pannier lid (the painted cover part) is becoming loose at the top edge. I noticed this when I tapped on the edge near to the "shut line" with the main case. When I open the lid I can ease the painted cover away from the lid inner (the black plastic part). The nearside pannier is un-affected, the painted cover being tight and solid.
Never noticed this before on either of our previous RT's. I would be interested to hear if anyone else has noticed this and of any possible remedy. Thanks.

Build year is 2012. Model is as above (Twin Cam RT), As far as I know the panniers (Bags) haven't changed since the introduction of the 1200RT in 2005.
