Just ordered a 2017 - newbie

Post by DBLXX »

Coming off a 2015 K1600GTL and hoping to get a bit more sport than tour without losing the ability to ride 10-12 hour day's - comfort.

LOVED my K16 - but it was a bit to heavy. Should have known after I sold my C14 because of that top heavy feel.

Live in NY and bought from a dealer in NJ. Hope it comes in before March.

Looking forward to being a part of the community.

Dave

Welcome to the forum.  Tons of useful information out here, and very knowledgeable riders.

I also switched from a 1600gt to a new RT last year, other than a little less go power the only difference you'll feel is the loss of 200 pounds extra weight

I traded a GT 2015 for a 2016RT. Maybe we should start a club
