Again sure you can but its like gear indicators. Do you really need one when you can count the gears up or down or remember speed / rpm relationships. However its so much easier with one. All I'm saying is that on a bike thats built to tour / cross borders its a shame that we do not have a simple clear speedo. To me its just bad design. Anyway enough said I'll shut up now.

I'm sure all types of GPS will convert from mph to KPH.  Junk if they don't.

Even my '13 FJR let you change from mph to kph.

My '04 FJR was purely analogue and, like Levisp, I did not have a GPS.  I did use my little bottle of Cerulean touch up to paint the bugs on the speedometer.  Very stylish.

As Casbar said earlier.  Do the mental stuff and save your paint
30 = 5o
50 = 80
60 = 100
70 = 120 or just about
