Agreed.  High quality, designed for the job nd very reasonably priced.  Not adapted hiking boots.

TCX Infinity for me.  OK they look a bit more off road than some, but they are three years old, waterproof, comfortable and still look like new.

on road - Daytona Roadstar GTX for last few years.


recently obtained Daytona Evo Voltex GTX because of inner boot and significantly improved ankle protection.  Not sure what I think yet.  They're definitely more protective but they're a faff to get on and a bit stiff still.


gravel etc. on longer tours - Alpinestars Toucan.

Good point I'll give Altberg a ring and tell them they should remove the Hogg boots from the motorcycle section of their web site.

daytona GTX for me to...goretex and comfy on or off the bike
