First Run Out 2017

Clear blue skies, 10 degrees C on the thermometer, roads just about clear of the dreaded salt so off came the dust sheets. The Twincam fired up first touch of the button and steadied down to a nice burble tickover. I gave her a minute or two for the Cam Chain Tensioners to pressurise after a couple of months in hibernation then snick into gear and off we went. What a pleasure to get on two wheels again after the winter layup. Back home after a couple of hours with 80 miles on the trip, a couple of Helmsley "Castle Bakery"  steak pies in the pannier and a nice feeling to be a Motorcyclist again. Only negative thing to spoil the day, my leather salopettes seem to have strangely "shrunk" whilst hanging in the cupboard !!.
