Has anyone ever encountered an intermittent smell of burning from the front of the bike. Usually follows starting after a stall.

Yes to noticing a burning smell, of rubber. I only notice it on my 2015 LC after I've switched off the engine and only then intermittently. I haven't thus far found out what's causing the smell, and I recall an earlier thread on this subject if I recall correctly.

I get this (or at least something similar) on my bike and while I agree it smells like burning rubber, in my case I was able to trace it to road crap burning off the exhaust. I can't explain why it smells like rubber though.

Happened to me a couple weeks ago ...
At same time the clutch said it was time to replace it .
Not sure if its related or not.
