Keyless, can they be stolen?

I pose this one after the news yesterday after a keyless car was stolen without removing the keys from the house but possibly accessing the keys remotely  :o

Anything keyless is vulnerable to this kind of theft - but don't worry...

Whoever heard of an RT getting nicked?

Me
One of my claims to fame.  Had a 75th Aniversary RT in 97.  6 months after I sold it it came up,in the BMW system as stolen.

I've got this remarkable security device to protect me from this type of theft.  It's a bit of silver metal that sticks out of the fob.  Then you stick it in to this little slot and turn.  WOrks every time. :)
