You'll probably find the guard is fine - as long as it has a BMW logo embossed on it.  Failing that, I suggest you glue one on, otherwise the bike will definitely overheat...
Good idea, never thought of that. Any idea where I can get a cheap Chinese copy of a BMW logo?

If it attaches to the bike, just about everything but not quite.  in addition
All riding gear including summer and winter underwear, sunglasses, wristwatch, multi tool, manicure kit(wife's) umbrella, laptop bag...............
Nearly forgot.  A large collection of miniature models but not one of the LC, yet.

Basically have to agree that it's good stuff. Just bought a pair of BMW 'Rider' trousers which are first class and fairly priced alongside the competition. Sticking to M&S for the undercrackers though.

Have you thought about therapy?  ;)  Seriously though, If that's what 'you' like, why not? Probably all good kit too!
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)
