BMW Roadside assistance - tires

I have never used the roadside assistance.  Does anyone know if they carry spare tires or have the ability to replace tires?  Or are these guys simply going to tow me to the nearest gas station or dealership?

Preparing for a long tour this summer to Yellowstone and beyond (on my 2016 RT).  Will have pilot car with us, with the ability to carry as many tools, spare parts, etc...as we care to bring.  I'm considering buying a spare set of tires to have, just in case I puncture one when far from home.  Michelin PR4 GTs.


If I at least have spares with me, many places would be able to swap the tire, but if I have to order them in the middle of Wyoming, it could take days.


Assuming I don't need them, I can always just use them later.  Of course my local BMW dealer will not install tires unless you buy them there.  So if I buy them online, at half the price the dealer asks, I'll have to find someone else to mount them.

I believe in the US all roadside assistance will do, tow your bike to nearest Bmw dealer
Not sure about fuel or jump starts
Bmw MOA platinum policy covers tire replacement, but you need approval for them to do so
Carry a tire pump and patch kit, and hope you never need it
Kit I carry on bike has 2 spark plugs, appropriate socket along with the tire kit
Anything more complex I'll let the shop handle

Haha...I'm less concerned about the misspelling of tires, than I am about you guys all riding on the wrong side of the road!  :alas:

Sorry you might drive on the right side of the road, but the Brits and the other lefties drive on the (historically) correct side of the road.

The switch from left to right, as far as I understand it, was made by Napoleon.

Being on the left hand side of the road was good, in the middle ages.  You had easy access to your sword and to defend yourself.  However for motorcycle greetings - being on the right hand side is 100% better!

I use Goop in my All my vehicle tyres, motorcycle, cars and even my mountain bike, but carry a puncture repair kit as well, with the Co2 inflate bottles!

Are you not concerned that putting sticky goo in your tyres might just kill your TPM.
