Do you have the BMW "Low" seat?  Mine does.  It's too hard for my light weight.

I have the BMW low seat and it is a plank. After 100 miles I can't wait to get off and have a stroll around to rest my rear, but at least I can touch the ground with both feet now. :(

I must have more padding on my bum as I have the BMW low seat on a low chassis and had no problems doing 2hr stints on the way to Lucca from Surrey. Just had to get off from getting bored on the French motorways. The 320 plus range on the tank doesn't help as you don't need to stop for refueling.
thanks and regards, Ganesh

Yes think seats suit different bums, I have the standard seat and can go for 200 miles stints without discomfort and definitely can ride for more than 2 hours at a time. Guess you just get used to the seat.
