Not a happy bunny!! ????

Post by DaveCly »

Just back from the NC500 and a 1262 mile week, great time and a must if you get chance!!
However not happy with front wheel after cleaning it found this  ! It handled fine and didn't happen last week, but did hit a pot hole a few weeks ago!
Any body any ideas on repair or cost of replacement 👍

I had a similar thing on my mine so took the wheel off and had the rim straightened by Motoliner in Kent. Think it cost around £100.
Dropped the wheel off first thing in the morning and collected it around lunchtime so took them around 4hrs.

Cheers Reaper! That sounds reasonable, just need to find somewhere local to me, that will do it, was there any signs of a repair once done?

Nothing that I could see but my wheel did have some paint / laquer lift anyway so wasn't immaculate in the first place.

Motoliner offer a return postal service if thats any help ?

http://www.motoliner.com/

I live in West Sussex so not local to them but drove accross on a day off as I wanted it done there and then. I think for the postal service the where quoting around 1 week turnaround at the time.
