However you celebrate at this time of year, I wish you all a healthy and happy 2018.
So when is this “old enough to know better” supposed to kick in?

to all a happy Christmas and great new year!

Merry Christmas.

I took advantage of the dry roads and relatively mild temperatures yesterday and gave the RT a 30 mile run out. It's a fine balancing act between leaving her languishing in the garage for weeks on end and dodging the salty roads.

Got to sort my back brake before I go out again.  Was hoping to do that today but SWMBO had other plans.

Maybe to tomorrow whilst she is still in bed and before anyone else turns up.

Have a good Christmas  or for those easily offended  an alternative greeting

Dear friends,

Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, stress free, non-addictive, gender neutral, seasonal solstice holiday,

practiced within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others
who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a religion at all;

plus

a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2018,
but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions have helped make our society great, without regard to
the race, creed, colour, religious, or sexual preferences of the wishes.

(Disclaimer:
This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal.
It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and no responsibility for any
unintended emotional stress these greetings may bring to those not caught up in the holiday spirit.)

(Not my words saw it elsewhere and copied it  ;) )

Here in Southern California we’re having a cold snap only 68 degrees in Huntington Beach. Though it feels colder!! Merry Christmas to all and a safe and happy New Years
