RT LC Top lateral panel tabs

Got any tips and tricks for BMW R1200RT/R1250RT owners? feel free to share them here.

I would be interested to know which type of J B Weld you used.  There appear to be several varieties.

The bog standard one, so had the panel indoors and held the tab with tape to set. Left if for 24hrs
