While I've been in Sunny 8) Sevilla, the RT was in to check why the central locking & alarm wasn't working with the key fob.
The key apparently had lost it's code with the bike! Apparently if the system can't pair each other it gives the bike a new code. This means the key is not recognised & has to be reset to the bike. The BMW technician says its a lottery for which bike does this or not. Some are quite susceptible while others never give any trouble.
