It means if you have a Garmin Sat Nav, you use Garmin Express software to upload the device software and transfer maps. Garmin have release an update to Garmin Express

Ah, thanks. So does that update also apply to the Nav 5 and Nav 6 mapping software?

No, the update is for the software that allows your device to get updates. So when you connect your Nav V or VI, Garmin Express will normal load and this allows you to check for updates to your devices, register your devices etc.

Sorry, you're right. I thought the OP was asking if the express was compatible with Nav V & VI
