Gear shift Pro problems?

Post by Lynxfixer »

I bought my 2014 a couple of months ago and have only just found out its got Gear Shft Pro fitted. Thing is, I'm not sure it's working. It wont let me change up with the throttle open, I physically can't lift the lever, I have to roll off the throttle to clutchless change, and I could do that with my last bike!! Changing down just feels like my old bike as well.
I have a gs911, is  a diagnosis or reset procedure I could try.
Thanks for your help!!

My shift pro works very well under acceleration up through the box and you let off the throttle while changing down.

It doesn't like to change up freely if the throttle is just held in a constant position.
It's recommended for use from 2nd upwards but now it's started to free up, it's fine up from 1st and all the way back down into 1st.

Is using the clutch whilst changing gear (up or down) more mechanically sympathetic than gear shift assist pro.
