anyone know any nice roads , meeting a friend in Ellesmere Port and wanting a few hours ride from there.  Cheers

North Wales? Plenty round there, some nice ones round Jodrell Bank and Delamere forest as well 👍
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

I’m out tomorrow probably breakfast at the Ponderosa around 1000. Try Lyn Brenig excellent cafe and cracking roads.

I only know one Ponderosa. In Chorley 😊

Just got back now. It’s on the A542 Horseshoe Pass. Near Llangollen

Try Lyn Brenig another really nice cafe with fantastic roads to and from it. Take the A525 from the Ponderosa to Ruthin then B5105 to Cerrigydrudion then B4501 for 4 miles to the cafe.
