I wish I'd gone to Assen - I haven't been for years.
Great weather, big crowds and some interesting racing.

Vale's not having the best of times at the moment but he's a big crowd puller and figurehead for Yamaha. Considering his age he's not doing badly but the fact is that he so obviously enjoys it... so I wouldn't bet on him retiring soon. 


I've been to visit his Pizza Cafe a few years ago and also joined his fan club whilst I was there (sad or what?) so I've got the baseball cap, T shirt and watch  ;)
