iPod woes.

Got any questions about the BMW's R1200RT/R1250RT's onboard audio, Bluetooth or the Electrical system?

iPod woes.

Post by Old-Git »

Ok so my '15 cane with the audio option, and I found a ipod lead in the sat nav box, so I bought a ipod nano gen3, loaded loads of music and played it on the odd occasion. A couple of weeks ago I disconnected battery to fit a hex ezcan, and since then I can get very little volume when the source is the ipod. It's fine on radio (when I can get a station) and sat nav volume is fine. I've tried all the settings on the ipod - volume limit, sound check, EQ, all to no avail. And now the bike doesn't even recognize the ipod. It does, however see aux input from a later version of ipod, and volume is great, but of course I can't fast forward any tracks. Any ideas? Thanks

Get rid of the Ipod & put your music on a USB stick. As to volume when you have the Bike display showing your music that is playing, increase the volume using the magic wheel to the desired level.
