Passenger seat heater wont turn off

Post by Bernman »

I just bought a used 2013 R1200RT with only 5,600 miles.  The bike is amazing and everything has been in perfect working order until today when the passenger seat heater wont turn off.  The grip switch cycles the front seat low/high settings but the rear shown always on.  Front seems to work fine both on low and high setting.  Disconnecting the rear sear pigtail removes the dashboard indicator off.  Any thouhts on how to fix this?

The switch for the passenger seat is under the passenger seat. It is a 2 position rocker switch on the right hand side. If you take the seat off it is very easy to find.
