What a great run today tried suggested route from MCN Barnard Castle / Alston /St Bees /Ambleside /Barnard Castle, great weather lots of bikers to chat away too , all in all a super day !!!!!!!

I left York on Thursday and had a ride through Barnard Castle / Alston and lots of other back roads over the Yorkshire moors before heading for home (Dundee).  A 350 mile day, with the last 100 miles in heavy rain.  Thank heavens for Goretex !
