riders backrest
Anyone know of a UK supplier who sells rider backrest for a BMW RT? on Sargent website it states that there backrest will not fit an OEM stock seat only a Sargent seat , any help welcome .

I think you have to buy an after-market seat with the built-in hardware for the backrest. If you're riding solo on a longish tour, I just pile stuff on the pillion and lean back.

I have a stand-alone backrest for my 2014 R1200RT, and it worked with my stock seat. It's just sitting in my garage if you would like it, albeit I'm across the pond.
