Mystery Wiring

Post by Our Gee »

Just noticed something on my" New to Me" 2011 Twin Cam RT which I hadn't noticed before. There is a bunch of wire carefully clipped just under the right (uk off side) frame top tube adjacent to the Rear Suspension mounting position. Anyone any ideas what is is for ?.
Thanks

Not seen any 'spare' wires on my 2012.

Could it be seat heater wires, or maybe where someone plugs in a heated jacket?

Unused ESA connector? Unused heated seat connector? Is it 'factory' wiring?

Does look quite neat but as it’s tucked under the frame tubing it’s difficult to see. I’ll have a good proper look when I take the fairing panels off during the winter, but thanks for the replies.

My 2012 Camhead seems to have the same wires tucked under the frame tube. They do look as though they are connected to something and OE fitment.
