TomTom GO and Sygic will work will Apple Car Play. I use TomTom GO and it works really well. Sygic not used but its a well established app so I'm sure it works well with Car Play. Note Sygic charge extra for Car Play. TomTom Go its all part of the app.

The BMW Motorrad Connected app is made by TomTom, I suppose they're using the same code. We'll see how good it turns out.
Ride safe!

I don't understand why so many people are so transfixed by the navigation interface, but are less concerned with how well the new lighting system will perform, or how comfortable the bike may be, or the footpeg/seat/bar relationship. There are so many areas where improvements would be of significance to the user, but the sat nav/display has got to be pretty low on the list!

So far we can only judge the pretty pictures. When we get the chance to sit and have a test ride then we can have a proper moan! ;)

I guess it's because if the lights don't perform people will change them or add more, like they do with past and current models. Same for pegs/seat/bar configuration, plus the new tubular handlebar option on the new model should make tweaking a little bit easier.
You're stuck with that TFT display, like it or loathe it.

It will be interesting to see if BMW have listened to the points that were made by current owners ie: seat comfort , a proper windscreen , adjustable handlebars, to name a few , i live in hope if not i will be hanging on to my 2018 RTLE a few more years to come .

Well they certainly have given you a choice with the handlebars because you can specify conventional tubular handlebars (£200 extra!) and play with them to your hearts content.

Bike expected to arrive at the dealer on Weds, for release after the launch day on the 6th March. :) :)
Getting a few things transferred from the old bike when they get it, but not sure yet when I can pick it up because of the lockdown rules - probably the 29th March.
