Torque value - engine cover

Post by Gavj »

Hi all, my 2020 RT is getting crud thrown onto the front engine cover, the engine fairing and the extended mud guard still dont do it!! I have knocked up a protection plate which will use the two bottom bolts on the engine cover to hold it. Does anyone have a torque figure for these bolts?

Something like this crud catcher would also help to protect the exhaust header balance pipe.

(Shown on a GS but fits an RT too).
