What is this?

I guys, new to the forum. Just noticed this plug near the headstock. Does anybody know what it should be plugged into? I can't work it out!

Looks like the plug has 3 wires, therefore, it's likely to be a switched power socket for optional extras e.g. Sat. Nav./GPS unit.

This photo is of a Camhead, it'll be the same for a Hexhead.
