Would like to say I've been somewhere interesting on the bike but I haven't. Just started the 2nd week of self isolation today after being in contact with someone that tested covid positive.
Working from home isn't all the fun it's cracked up to be (although in reality I only do two days a week so shouldn't moan).

Started servicing/de-commissioning my RT for winter storage.

Checked valve clearances, all within spec., no adjustments required.

At £8.59 from Wemoto, will fit a new Hiflo air filter too.

Out of interest, what mileage is your bike at now, and when did the VCs need adjustment last?  Mine is going in for it's 12,000 mile service next month, so they'll check the VCs for me.

My 2012 RT has now done 32,000 miles.

At 10,000 miles, the LHS cylinder bottom exhaust valve required a shim replacing (adjustment).

Since then, no further adjustments have been required.

(My 2010 RT did 36,000 miles without needing any valve clearance adjustments).

I manage to crack on hour or so on some quality roads.  Quiet (ish), excellent scenery and just a pleasure to be on the bike.  Good for the soul
