I've just had my running in service and firmware update done and still have to re-connect wifi manually after a switch-off to get maps on my TFT. I have a new iphone 13. I've been through all the settings on the phone and on the app and still the same.

Hard to know what the problem could be, you may have some luck on the BMW LT site.  There is quite a bit on the site about the TFT and iphone.

Ok just bought a cheap used Samsung Galaxy s10 off eBay, loaded the app, connected Bluetooth and...everything connects automatically!
