Post by STeinar »

Hello everyone!

To make this the ultimate site for 1200RT owners – what sort of information or functionality would you like to see here ?

What do you missing on other sites out there?

Please give me a hint!

Also – please help me having this site known out there – by giving hints around with link to this site – to have it up and running.

I have never found a forum dedicated just to the RT. I'm sure that this forum will be just as popular and informative as the 1600 one when it gets known. I can see the content being very much the same as the 1600 one but hopefully no references to gearbox clunks and ever failing switches

As above, have struggled to find a site dedicated to RT's, hopefully this one will fill the gap.

I like it when they have a "view first unread" button when you open a thread so it takes you to the most recent message. Handy if you have been following the thread over a few days saves having to keeps reading it!

Also having to type the verification stuff out with each post could become annoying  :o

Welcome Ch00

The verification stuff is only needed on your first posting - not thereafter.

To view unread -
If you look under your name - upper left - you will find a link "Show unread posts since last visit"
Selecting one of them - will take you straight into the section and posting

I see that one. Some others have the same button on the thread itself.

Hello Gang, Looking forward to this Forum and all the Great Info that is contained in it
and Making new friends that ride the RT like I do. I have 2 Rt's, One old Airhead 1986
R80 RT and the 2005 R 1200 RT and Love both of them. I am Looking forward to our
Trip this summer on the 1200 RT. I am having trouble right now with my Intercom with
my passenger and Pilot. Hope to get that resolved real soon.  No other issue's right
now and that's good.  Ride Safe!!

I would gladly run a website sticker on my rt, my truck and my wife's car to help spread the word. Going on a trip next weekend to watch the World Superbike races at Laguna Seca and would be glad to pass out to rt owners forum stickers.

That would be nice  :)

We need to have more inbound links from other sites into this one also.
