Bent key repair?

Hi all - the keyless-ride key I got with my bike seems to have been bent at some point in the past
Everything works ok, wondering if this is a common problem and whether (short of brute force) there’s an easy fix? Don’t want to make it worse/break it completely.

It’s the key - sticks out like this rather than folding away.

Yes I can see what you mean now

At first I was thinking that where it pivots it maybe twisted and catching on the case and not folding away properly.

But on looking closer the key is folded away properly its just bent out!

I know on some keys the blade is replaceable I will have a look at mine in a bit

You can see the red circled part on the key this can be removed and a new blade put in

Not sure where you would get the blade from though but they are available

Also the key feels pretty robust to be honest and I suspect a bit of brute force may sort it

Although sometimes a bend can weaken the metal and it will snap eventually

Hope you can get it sorted.

I wasn't that happy using the fob key to unlock the pannier and seat, so I bought a non-fob key from my local dealership. I had to take the V5 and my D/L as ID, but it came ready cut and is far more sturdy.
