Time for a bit of comfort

Post by EastYorksBoy »

Hello ladies and gents, new to the forum and new to BMW. Had a lot of years on sports tourers ZZR and zx12 and 14s but the body is unable to bend as it did 20 years ago! So it’s time to be sensible and have ordered a 22 R1250RT LE in black for performance and most importantly comfort. Hopefully will be collecting third week in January and really looking forward to it. Got a weeks touring booked in the Normandy area in June so that will be a good test for man and machine. This forum is full of information so looking forward for help and advice in the near future.

Welcome.

I find my seat uncomfortable after an hour or so and have invested in an AirRider . Worth the money

Enjoy your new bike.

BTW - I have no connection to AirRider.

Welcome from the other side of the bridge. Like you I came from the big Kawasaki's until the bend in the back was too tiring.
