Tyres again

Post by Doctor T »

My cousin has fitted a pair of Bridgestone BT 32 to his R1250R. He has only used them for 300 odd miles when i spoke to him. He said he liked them but he needed more miles on the to really tell.
My Roadtec 01 tyres are due for a change and i was wondering if anyone on here has them on their RT yet.

They don't feature in the "Poll of Tyre Options", viewtopic.php?t=1217 (107).

I don't seem to be able to edit the poll. As a Moderator, please can you or Stu do something with it and perhaps even reset the votes to get a more up to date picture of what tyres folks are using on there RT's, thank you.

As I've got Dunlop RoadSmart II, can they be added to the poll if and when reset.

I had those (T32GT) on my short list but eventually chose Roadsmart IV.

Although I have not done one single kilometer on those Bridgestones I am quite certain that they would have been very good - all reviews etc. I read gave very positive feedback of them.

I'll have a go at creating a new poll. Until I've done it, won't know if I can edit it as time goes on. Will start with those tyres and any others posted in this thread.

I've seen the test report by Bridgestone but i take that with a pinch of salt. I know they have not been on the market long, so on the off chance someone may have bout a set or even the older T31.
As much as i like the Roadtec 01 i would like to see if what else is out there.

He likes them but his bike is an R1250R and i guess ours are a lot heavier at the front end.
