Newbie to BMW

Post by Cambo69 »

Guys after many years riding the old faithful Virago 1100 with Uysses motorcycle Group in NSW Australia. With my 80th year coming up in 2024.
Am planning to ride from home across to Perth in WA West Australia. A distance of 4398 + klms which is only 2732 miles. Reasons to choose the BMW bit more comfort (1) larger tank.
Being my 1st ever BMW am quite looking forword to the challenge. I will not be traveling alone although have covered a large protion of Australia by my self. It is always safer to travel in company. thanks for any tips you may have. BMW rt 1200rt 2007 ex police cheers

Well done! You give us young ones (coming up to 69) encouragement to stick with our motorcycling in the face of arthritic knees and general creakiness
