Thanks Doc, I am in my sixties, been riding bikes since I was ten. Been riding Harleys recently but thought the BMW seating position might be more comfortable. I have completed studies in mechanical engineering at university and spent much time in my youth helping my father work on motor cars. I like to do my own servicing and maintenance where I can. I like to do rides of two or more days when possible and sometimes I like motocamping. I help other people with their bikes sometimes. I enjoy gardening and cooking.

Camping is a past pleasure of mine but prefers a comfy bed these days. Long distance rides for me is like popping down the shop in your country
