It's a never ending poll and if you change your tyres, re-voting is allowed.

My vote is on Dunlop RoadSmart IV as the GT version was not available when poll was set up.

Could the higher powers change my vote to Dunlop RoadSmart IV GT, please?

I have done so little (perhaps 100...200 km) with the Dunlops so far that I'm unable to comment.

But should I look my short list again I would still choose these based on feedback from others, availability and price.

50% of the votes cast are for Michelin 4, 5 or 6. I don't find this surprising as Michelin are factory fit to RT's and most folks probably fit the same again or the latest replacement version.

I got a new pair of Dunlop RoadSmart II fitted at the back end of last year, not used the bike with them on yet. Had many pairs of RoadSmart I and would have had the same again but now discontinued. As a mainly fair weather rider, I'd rather have more rubber in contact with the road than a tyre with rubber removed (tread pattern) to deal with wet conditions. IMO, Michelin are promoted for their wet weather performance. I just modify my riding according to the conditions and don't deliberately go out in the wet.

Roadsmart III for me, find them excellent in both grip & wear.

Mine had a fairly new Bridgestone T31 GT on the back and a knackered Michelin on the front. I've just replaced the front with a new T31 (£120 vs £360 for a pair of Road 6s). When the rear has gone though I'll be powder coating the wheels and fitting a new set of Michelin Road 6s - purely from very happy experience on my other bikes.

Full house, now have at least one of each of the 14 tyres listed in the poll fitted to an RT.

If you have any makes or versions not listed, fire away and they can be added to the remaining options.
