DAB Radio antenna

Post by exportman »

Hi
I am sure I have seen something on this before but cant find it

Is there a radio antenna available for the DAB radio? The reception is crap with the original equipment. Spends more time with no reception than it does actually playing a station.
I have a 2023 model

I know that you can buy an aerial booster box to improve the signal. Or just buy a DAB aerial that will fit the fairing hole. Both can be found on eBay.

Sorry, I started another post about this subject having not found this one.

DAB radio is really poor and is quiet half the time with the radio saying no signal. Only the BBC channels seem to work.
I think the DAB antenna is under the tank so it's forward and high up but seems pretty rubbish. FM radio is spot on though.

Has anyone managed to find a solution?

I might try a cheep DAB/FM booster amplifier but I'm not sure which is the DAB antenna plug - red, white or black?

I'm guessing one is FM, one is DAB and one is bluetooth? Any ideas?

I thought I could just unplug them whilst listening to the radio and see which cuts the signal but FM is not affected by unplugging these and I can't get DAB in my garage anyway (on the bike that is, DAB works fine in my car).
