Can anyone tell me what the different models are? 🤔 I have a 2012 MU, but I've seen mention of an LC and SE. What are the differences?

The LC stand for liquid cooled which is 2014 upwards the SE is the spec of the bike

They created a SE spec which came with certain things as standard

Thanks Sakm. So what does MU stand for? LC makes sense and is what I thought, so is SE, Special Edition, if it's an all singing al dancing model.

I'm led to believe that the MU stands for Model Update

But don't quote me on that!

I started putting this together a while ago but just haven't had time to add more info

You are correct, the model update for the twin cam RT happened
Late 2010. The updates were the fork stanchions and fuel float.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)
