NO spark

I have a 2014 bmw 1200rt that doesn't have any spark. The bike tuns over with no problem, its getting good gas. Its in nutral and the side stand is up.
I changed out a basic module, it ran before then. I read somwhere that those are coded and the bike may not run if the VIN numbers not match? any body have any ideas on this? I dont thinks its the ECU as I said, it did run before.
